COVID-19 Procedures

Infection control has always been a top priority for our clinic. Our processes are monitored routinely throughout each day so that when you receive care it is both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about Covid-19 infection control procedures we will be following in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.

Covid-19 Proceedures

You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

When we open the office for patients to be seen….

  • Initially, when you come to our clinic you will be calling us to let us know that you are in the parking lot. Either your therapist or an office staff member will come to your car to escort your child inside. If you are entering our clinic, you will be required to wear a face mask. Children more than three years old are required to wear a mask, if possible.
  • When you come into the office you will be asked standard questions regarding how you are feeling and whether you have been in contact with anyone confirmed with COVID 19 or suspected of COVID 19.
  • We will take you and your child’s temperature by touchless means when entering the clinic
  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the clinic. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the clinic for you to use as needed.
  • Initially, our waiting room will be off limits for everyone.
  • As an additional step, we will be using a hospital grade sanitizing fogger using H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide, food grade).
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
  • Please expect your services to continue in a hybrid fashion between telehealth and physical appointments depending on your need and comfort level to help in our social distancing efforts.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 505-424-8777.

Thank you for your understanding and patience and for allowing us to serve you as we navigate these unknown waters. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.
